Our Partners in Recovery

Everything you need to know about our mission, support resources, and how you can help.

Grants

Thanks to the generous support of our donors and partners, the Spirit of Sebastian Foundation is proud to award grants that fuel prevention, education, and recovery efforts in the fight against addiction.

We believe that strategic grantmaking does more than fund a program. It fosters transformation—restoring dignity, rebuilding futures, and strengthening our communities.

Your contributions live here: each grant is a tangible step forward. Every grant awarded becomes part of the larger vision: no one in our community suffers in silence, and every story has the potential to spark change.

In these almost three years of the Spirit of Sebastian Foundation, we have been blessed with the generous support of our community. Thanks to your kindness and our fundraising events, we’ve been able to continue helping young people who want to change their lives — and to expand our prevention and awareness programs about drug abuse.

✨ These are the numbers of empathy, restored dreams, and renewed hope for many families.

Charleston Recovery Center

Charleston Recovery Center

Since 2023, Spirit of Sebastian has built a strong and meaningful partnership with Charleston Recovery Center. Spirit of Sebastian is dedicated to helping addicts and alcoholics find a way out of the darkness and into a life of hope, recovery, and purpose. Through this collaboration, Spirit of Sebastian has referred residents to Charleston Recovery Center’s 90-day inpatient recovery program, where individuals are provided with the tools to understand the root of their struggles and learn how to overcome them. Together, the two organizations share a mission of transforming lives—providing those who are suffering not only with structure and accountability, but also with compassion and guidance as they begin a new life in recovery.

Oaks Recovery

Oaks Recovery Center
Greenwood, South Carolina

This incredible foundation exists to help individuals with limited or no financial resources gain access to reputable treatment programs across the country, including those right here at Oaks.

One of the biggest barriers people face when seeking recovery is finances. The desire for change is there—but the means to get help often isn’t. That’s where Spirit of Sebastian steps in, removing those barriers and providing immediate access to life-saving support.

Over these past several years, they’ve funded many individuals into our program—each one a life given a second chance.

Our mission at Oaks has always been to walk with men and women as they rebuild, recover, and rediscover themselves. Partnering with Spirit of Sebastian has allowed us to expand that mission, and we have been able to watch so many families restored as a result of our partnership!

Both of our organizations believe deeply in the power of community and the importance of offering hope to those on their sobriety journey. Together, we uphold the same principles of empathy, resilience, and unwavering support, working hand in hand to create a nurturing space where healing can truly flourish.
